
Coach Eric Grundman
Marywood University
Eric Grundman enters his ninth year
as Marywood University's Assistant Director of Athletics and Recreation and
Head Men's Basketball Coach. Grundman led the men's basketball program to
its most successful season ever in 2008-09, The Pacers reached the
post-season for the the third time in program history and had two players
earn First-Team All-Conference Honors.
Grundman came to Marywood after a very successful stint at nearby Lackawanna
Junior College. During his last season at Lackawanna, Coach Grundman led
the Falcons to a 19-9 record, falling one win shy of returning to the NJCAA
Division II National Championship game. Grundman's Falcons battled four
times in the Region XIX championship game, hanging title banners three times
during his seven seasons at the helm of the program. Grundman compiled a
153-47 record while at Lackawanna and earned three NJCAA Division II Region
XIX Coach of the Year awards. |

Coach Trevor Woodruff
Misericordia University
Trevor Woodruff is in his sixth season as
head men’s basketball coach at Misericordia University. In just their second
season as members of the highly competitive Freedom Conference, Woodruff
lead the Cougars to a 15-10 regular season record, good enough for second
place and a conference tournament birth. In 2007-08, Woodruff was named
Coach of the Year in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference after leading the
Cougars to a 19-10 record and playoff berths in the PAC and ECAC.
During his playing days at Misericordia, Woodruff served as team captain as
a senior. He was an All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference selection and led
the Cougars to the 1999 PAC title game. He was also a PAC All-Academic
selection as a senior.
Previously, he spent four years as a teacher and coach at Delaware Valley
High School and led the Warriors to their first-ever Lackawanna League
championship.
Woodruff made the transition to Lackawanna College where he was named the
NJCAA District and Regional coach of the year after leading the Falcons to a
27-7 record and a trip to the national tournament.
He has overseen the development of 16
all-conference performers, three all-region selections and one All-American. |
