Played AAU Basketball for 6 years under Coach John E. Bucci and competed against some of the best players in the country as well as winning 2 national tournaments. In High School played at Scranton Prep  Varsity starter for 3 years. While at Prep  Won 2 Lynett championships, named to the all Lynett team, 2 time all league player.  State playoffs elite 8 as a sophomore and went to the final 4 as a senior going further in the state playoffs than any other team in Prep basketball history Billy was Named to the senior all-star team. He is now finishing up his collegiate basketball career at King's College.

Since his Sophomore year He has coached at multiple basketball camps; such as the Gerry McNamara camp, Stan Waleski, and other  camps  & clinics run by Backcourt Hoops and other organizations.
