Carmody finishes sophomore season at Binghamton

Rebecca Carmody averaged 6.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals for Binghamton University as a sophomore in the 2016-17 season.

The 5-foot-8 sophomore guard is a Western Wayne High School and JB Hoops alum.

Carmody made an immediate impact at the NCAA Division I school, earning America East Conference All-Rookie honors as a freshman when she started all 31 games and finished in the top 10 in the conference in rebounds (6.5) and steals (1.6) per game.

Binghamton went 8-8 in the America East and 13-17 overall in the 2016-17 season. Carmody played in 29 games, starting in 3.
