Fast start propels JB Hoops McAndrew to win

MANHEIM – JB Hoops McAndrew came back strong from an opening loss in the 14U division of the Hoop Group Spring Jam Saturday in Lancaster County.

JB Hoops took charge from the start of a comfortable 61-31 rout of Alley Oop in the afternoon at Spooky Nook Sports.

Higher Level Elite beat JB Hoops, 61-37, in the morning at Hempfield High School.

JB Hoops has one more game in the tournament, Sunday morning at 8 at Spooky Nook against the Harrisburg Baby Cougars.

Johnny Rose scored a team-high 15 points in the win over Alley Oop.

Zach Kane, who led the way with 10 points in the first, and Adam Howanitz, who led the team with eight in the second half, each finished with 12 points.
