Chris Fazzini key contributor for King’s

Chris Fazzini has started 76 of a possible 80 games during the first three years of his men’s basketball career at King’s College.

Most of those starts have been alongside older brother, John Fazzini, who just wrapped up his college career.

Chris Fazzini missed one game during the 2016-17 season when the Monarchs struggled to a 5-20 finish. He came off the bench in three others.

The Crestwood graduate and JB Hoops alum averaged in double figures in points in his first two college seasons.

A 6-foot-4 forward, who also played some at shooting guard earlier in his career, Fazzini broke into the starting lineup prior to the opener of his freshman season with a team that went 15-11.

Fazzini averaged 12.4 points as a sophomore on a 12-13 team. In the season finale, Fazzini scored a career-high 25 points against crosstown rival Wilkes to complete a stretch of seven games in which he averaged 17.4 points and 6.7 rebounds.

As a junior, Fazzini averaged 5.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists while playing 21.2 minutes per game.

At Crestwood, Fazzini scored 1,070 career points and led the Comets to a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 title as a senior.
