JB Hoops Maddock advances to quarterfinals at Spooky Nook
MANHEIM – JB Hoops Maddock goes into Sunday as one of eight teams still in contention for the 14U championship of the Hoop Group Spring Jam at Spooky Nook Sports.
JB Hoops Maddock was the last of six JB Hoops teams to get started in the three-day weekend tournament and is the last to remain in title contention.
JB Hoops won a pair of 14U games over Maryland teams Saturday. It started the tournament in the afternoon with a 55-41 victory over Maryland Movement at Hempfield High School. After moving to the tournament’s headquarters at Spooky Nook, JB Hoops won again Saturday night, edging Maryland Playmakers, 47-44.
A field of 32 teams began pursuit of the 14U title. The four semifinalists will be determined Sunday morning.
