Alec Rodway has developed into one of the most efficient playmakers in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom League during his first two seasons at Misericordia University.
The Valley View and JB Hoops graduate worked his way into the starting lineup during both seasons.
In his first two years with Misericordia, the 5-foot-9 guard has played 45 games, starting in 23 of them.
As a sophomore in the 2016-17 season, Rodway tied for the MAC Freedom lead in assist-to-turnover ratio with 2.3. While playing an average of 17.5 minutes per game, Rodway was ninth in the league in assists.
Rodway averaged 3.2 points as Misericordia went 9-5 in the MAC Freedom and 20-8 overall on the way to a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Tournament berth.
In the tournament, Rodway went 4-for-5 from the floor while scoring 10 points in a 73-63 road loss to Ramapo in New Jersey.
Rodway averaged 4.3 points and 2.6 assists as a freshman while playing an average of 19.1 minutes in his 21 appearances.
