Alumni Report: Fazzini hits late game-winner for King’s

JB Hoops alum Chris Fazzini scored his team’s final 10 points and hit the game-winning basket on a drive through traffic with two seconds left Tuesday night to lift King’s College to a 74-72 men’s basketball victory over host Muhlenberg College in Allentown.

The 6-foot-4 senior forward from Crestwood finished with 12 points, a team-high 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. He worked inside for a basket and 72-69 lead with 38 seconds left.

After Muhlenberg tied the game on a 3-pointer with 26 seconds left, King’s called timeout with 8 seconds remaining and set up the winning play for Fazzini.

Fazzini went over 800 points for his career at King’s, which evened its season record at 3-3.

Noah Tanner, a freshman from Mid Valley and another JB Hoops alum, came off the bench to contribute seven points and a team-high four assists.
