Siena latest to offer Fermin
The offers keep coming for NEPA Elite Coyle 17U forward Christian Fermin.
Siena was the latest to make an offer to the 6-foot-8 junior from Pocono Mountain West.
Fermin, the Coyle team’s leading rebounder and shot blocker, received earlier National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I offers from LaSalle, St. Bonaventure, Central Connecticut State and Hofstra. He already had an earlier offer from Division II Lincoln.
Fermin was Pocono Mountain West’s only all-star during his sophomore season, receiving honorable mention when the East Penn Conference made its selections.
Siena won its final 10 games of the coronavirus-shortened, 2019-20 season and was in the MAAC semifinals when the season ended. It went 15-5 in the MAAC and 20-10 overall.
The school is located in Loudonville, in the Capital Region of New York State.
