Holy Cross junior Kaci Kranson reached the 1,000-point mark for her high school career Friday night.
Kranson hit the milestone by scoring 26 points when Holy Cross defeated Lakeland, 76-44, in a Lackawanna League Division 3 girls basketball game.
The NEPA Elite AAU player arrived for the game at Lakeland needing 24 points to join the 1,000-Point Club.
By halftime, it was clear that Kranson had a shot. She scored 17 points in the first half and got to 999 for her career before launching a 3-pointer from the top of the key to complete her scoring for the night with 4:30 still left in the game.
Kranson was a first-team, Division 3 all-star and second-team, all-District 2 choice by NEPABasketball.com last season as a sophomore. She earned second-team honors in the division as a freshman.
