What: Tryout for NEPA Flames Girls AAU program at Riverfront Sports

REGISTRATION DEADLINE for Grades 4th through 8th: February 19th (Any registration after that date will have a $25 late fee added)

Where: Practices will be held at Riverfront Sports, University of Scranton, Clarks Summit University, Moosic Youth Center, Lackawanna College, Johnson College, Scranton High School and Dunmore Community Center.

All TOURNAMENT GAMES will be played in Scranton or within a two-hour radius in such location King of Prussia, Manheim, Syracuse

When: The Spring Season Runs From tryouts until the end of May

 2021 Tryouts Dates & Times 

FLAMES:

4^th – 5^th Grade
Thursday, February 25^th from 7:15pm – 8:45pm
Saturday, February 27^th from 9:00am – 10:30am

6^th – 8^th Grade
Saturday, February 27^th from 3:45pm – 5:15pm
Monday, March 1^st from 7:15pm – 8:45pm

For Girls 9th, 10th & 11th Grade All players will try out for NEPA Elite and NEPA Flames and have the option of trying out for both or letting the coaching staff know ahead of time if they are only trying out for NEPA Elite or NEPA Flames.

Girls 9-10-11th Grade (FALL 2020)
Tryout dates will be in March – dates and times to be determined.

Why: The opportunity to practice and play against players of the same ability and playing experience. To play tournaments in Scranton and other venues within and 2.5 hours of Scranton.

Additional Info

The tryout cost is $40.00. A late tryout fee of $65 will be charged instead of the original registration fee if payment is not received one week in advance. We ask that each player attends both tryouts if applicable. If you can’t make the second tryout, please inform the coaches at the first tryout. We also ask that each player wears a shirt or a jersey with your name on back if possible

YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED BEFORE TRYOUTS ARE SCHEDULED.

Cost:  If you make the team the cost will be $550.00 if you are a new or returning player.  An extra uniform is available for $50.00 We understand that this a big expense, but your daughter will receive the following.

• 7 Tournaments
• Two practices per week
• A paid professional Coach 

This year, we will be using a hotel service to secure hotel room blocks for all Backcourt Hoops teams. To be eligible to play, you must use the room block that is designated. You will need to contact Apex-Events. During larger tournaments, you will have several hotel options to choose from. The goal is to make the hotel reservation process easier for the JB Hoops families and to make your stay more enjoyable, while always keeping price, location and amenities in mind.
