Volleyball Skill Development Academy
Beginners

Grades 5 through 9. – Sunday nights starting September 13th through October 25th 5:00PM-6:30PM

Limited to 30 players – Cost $160

Each practice session will focus on the fundamental aspects of the game, including how the game is played in a team environment through rotation instruction.  These sessions are for players who are still learning to play the game, or have only competed at the junior varsity level.

Advanced

Grades 10 through 12 – Sunday nights starting September 13th through October 25th 6:30PM-8:00PM

Limited to 30 players – Cost $160

Each practice session will focus on the fundamental aspects of the game, including teaching advanced techniques for players looking to take their abilities to a higher level.  These sessions are for players who have competed at the club level or have played multiple years of varsity volleyball.

Electric City Volleyball Director

Coach Chris Summa
Chris Summa has been Keystone College’s head volleyball coach since 2017. He brings more than a decade’s worth of volleyball experience including outstanding head coaching stints at nearby Marywood University and North Pocono High School.
Summa is also registered as a PIAA volleyball official and officiated the District II championship match in each of the past three years.  In 2016, he presented “Ball Handling Violations” at the PIAA Convention for volleyball officials. Summa has been active for the sport of volleyball in the media as well, serving as the lead color commentator for local televised matches on WNEP-TV, WQMY-TV and on NPF Sports internet radio.
